White Lies have announced details of the release of their debut album. To Lose My Life will be released through Fiction Records on Monday January 19th 2009.

Recorded at ICP studios in Brussels during the summer of 2008 with acclaimed producers Ed Buller (Pulp, Suede) and Max Dingel (The Killers, Glasvegas), the album will be preceded by a single, the album’s title track To Lose My Life, on January 12th.
The band, who recently completed a sell-out headline tour of the UK, will play their biggest headline show to date at London’s Koko before heading out with Glasvegas in December. The full dates are:

Since releasing their debut single, Unfinished Business, on the Chess Club label in April 2008, the band have become one of the most hotly-tipped bands in the UK courtesy of acclaimed performances at the summer festivals and their debut single for Fiction, Death, which was released in September.
