Twisted Sister – Twisted Sister Live At The Astoria

Global Music really is putting out a push for twin live CD & DVD packs. We’ve already seen Wednesday 13 and now Twisted Sister with their 16 track live show at the Astoria.

A decent mid size venue with a kitted out stage, there isn’t going to be too much problem here in terms of visual or sound. The problem with these types of releases is that they are not going to garner too much in the way of new fans. It’s for a core fan base audience only – so that already needs to be fairly impressive if it is to sell.
The band themselves will appeal heavily to the fans on stage here. They sound good. So beyond that there isn’t much to recommend. If you are a fan and you want to see what a live show might be like then this is an ideal purchase. Plus you get it on CD too!
