James Fox – Rocking Chairs And Lemonade

Fox does an aimiable enough job of creating an album that fits nicely into the accoustic guitar eeilding crowd of indie rockers. Sometimes the introspective nature of the music and lyrics are either overwhelmed by orchestration or simply nulified by a rather too happy and breezy sounding chorus. It’s still well written material but music that might need a little outside perspective first before honed for an audience. Still this is fairly small matters when there are very few people out there nailing decent material nowadays.
