Brand Wants To Duet With Jonas Brothers

Russell Brand has said he wants to record a duet with the Jonas Brothers to be released for Christmas 2009. Brand, of course, angered some for mocking the whiter than white brotherly pop trio at the MTV VMAs earlier this year, in particular joking about their stance on abstinence. The Jonas Brothers, however, said they weren't too bothered by Brand's jibes.

Asked about what Brand was doing in America, he told MTV: “I want to learn more about American cultural holidays. I'm going to have the best Thanksgiving ever. I also want to make sure ['Forgetting Sarah Marshall' spin off 'Get Him To The Greek'] is a triumph and that any further work I do with MTV is a success. And then perhaps a Christmas song with the Jonas Brothers. I haven't seen them [since the VMAs] but I love them little guys. I've got nothing against the Jonas Brothers as a concept. I love the idea”.
