So what have you always wanted for a 10th Birthday? A bike, a tree house, roller skates!? Snowbombing has gone one, two, three times better and unleashed its biggest, brashest and most audacious winter present yet for anyone with at least 10 years on their clock to experience once again a screaming and bed jumping 10th Birthday present.

Already unwrapped and dripping with yellow snow excitement for the 10th Birthday celebrations, Fatboy Slim will praise Mayrhofen in a rare Alpine performance along with iced jem treats from the likes of Dizzee Rascal, Grandmaster Flash and Reverend and the Makers amongst an avalanche of other DJ's and live acts.

But that is just the first squeeze of excitement in a long line of cool, frosty and down right impressive pressies to be delivered to your door and as Jimmy Cricket would say 'and there's more' starting with Manchester indie kings The Courteeners. After a massive 2008, which saw them sell out London's Brixton Academy, successive top 40 chart hits and in the midst of a UK wide academy tour this will be a first in the Alps and such unique venues for a band tipped to be one of 09's biggest indie, alternative acts.

You need no introduction for one of radio's most insightful gurus so here he is BBC Radio 1's new music champion Zane Lowe. One of the music scenes most revered taste makers will be appearing at his first ever Snowbombing to sample its delights and deliver a set of artists fresher than the snowman on the pull.

Sticking on BBC Radio 1 like a tongue on a strawberry steel ice pop the dance queen of broadcast Annie Nightingale has put her ear muffs on and will once again be brandishing her thrashing sets of breaks and beats on the always huge and appreciative SB crowd she draws.

Painting the slopes red will be the ultra in demand electro grindcore enthusiast Fake Blood – the new pseudonym for the well respected producer behind 'MARS' which has just dropped on Herve's Cheap Thrills label.

'The red haired one' La Roux is making electro-pop mean something again. Elly Jackson has a short ginger bob, freckles, a nose that makes your heart turn to a puddle, but more importantly a way with melodies that makes everything else around you completely vanish. This is an exquisite taste of powerful, engrossing, French electro pop written and performed from the heart, you know how the French do it, all you can say is 'oui oui' to more.

Snowbombing is branching far far east and on its travels they've picked up one of Japan's hottest DJ's to hit the platters. Shinichi Osawa is a pioneer of Tokyo's dance scene he has been at the forefront of the Japanese music wave since 2003 and has collaborated with the likes of Pete Tong, 2 Many DJ's and Switch and with his rocked up electro house album The One out this year, be ready to savour this rare Japanese electro flavour.

With more diversity in their attractions than a zoo Snowbombing has picked out one the most glorious and beautifully harmonious indie, alternative bands to grace the senses in 08'. Red Light Company are an ensemble rabble of soft tones mixed with punching masculine choruses serenading you with their velvet rock and majestic indie, picking massive critical acclaim and playlists with their current single ‘Scheme Eugene’ along the way, a beautiful change in direction and tone for that warming down and indulging after a hard days riding.

If you're looking for the brashest, most in your face and talented young punk that will make you wish you were a young buck again then here she is. Charlie XCX born of the Skins generation, mixing flamboyanceness, with grime, with electro with neon she is the poster child of the current youth generation, so young and underground that you won’t even have heard of her yet and also multi talented, you’ll damming those pesky kids but also getting a few fashion and culture tips!

Soft Rocks, born of well-girded loins in fair Brighton town are enigmas on top of mysteries, on top of scandals, on the top deck of a double decker bus. They are a collective, they are calm and collected, they are collectible, and possibly even contemptible. A unique blast of quintessential rock, don’t forget the air guitar and get ready to rawwk over a glass of warming mulled wine.

A beautiful songstress to warm those toasties Kathy Diamond is a charming, chestnut roasting songstress with an indulgent love for poetry, disco and Soul. Wind up and wind down to her soulful sway, hankering back to 80's disco with a contemporary electro disco, a funk soul sister for that slow warming groove on a sunny afternoon.
