The Bubble Project – The technicolor dream machine

I don’t know how unprofessional it is to write ‘Haha’ or ‘What a bunch of nutters’ in an opening paragraph of a review… But let’s make sure that you know that it isn’t trying to be dismissive. It’s really to get across the emotional response a reviewer sometimes has from the opening seconds of an album.

The crazy ass album cover should have been a clue to this 60’s rock mentalist throwback sound. Thankfully we finally get some vocals in the second track but it remains all a bit crazy and electrifying (if slightly more organized).

The sad news is that the sound quality isn’t the best. That’s only a shame with so many layers going on in the music itself. So you may have to whack it up a notch or two when listening.
