Athens, Georgia’s psych pop band of Montreal have confirmed they will be supporting Franz Ferdinand in London next January.

of Montreal’s reputation for flamboyant live shows has been rapidly increasing this year, mainly due to their antics promoting critically-acclaimed ninth album ‘Skeletal Lamping’. Aside from performing their set alongside dancing giant golden Buddhas and orgiastic Satyrs, frontman Kevin Barnes upped the ante by performing semi-naked on top of a white horse in New York’s Roseland Ballroom and most recently performed their encore in LA’s Hollywood Palladium dressed as a centaur.
