A wonderful package comes together in this Good Old War album. The cover itself may remind people of the Kaiser Chiefs ‘Employment’ album – but this is a very different type of music. Taking cues from American folk and psychedelia, there are a dozen tracks of drift through the rapid and also the simmering moments of folk rock. There is a heavy 60’s almost beatle-esque influence in the vocal as well.
