The Hot Melts Tour

Liverpudlian foursome ‘The Hot Melts’ have announced a rotating headline tour for the New Year. The Melts will go on the road with This City, Sons Of Albion and Canterbury in February 09.

Combining punk, rock ‘n’ roll and catchy pop hooks the quartet comprise of Will Baylis(vocals), Jonny Green(guitarist), Jack Prince(drummer) and bassist Jamie Otsa. With influences as diverse as Wes Anderson films, Weezer, and Eddie Cochran the Melts immediately caught the attention of Epitaph Records and signed a global deal.

The single ‘I Wish I Had Never Been In Love’ was released back in October and is a classic example of hard-riffs and near-classical harmonies which echo throughout the Melts unique songwriting.

2008 has been a busy year for Wirral boys, and 2009 looks set to get even better with the unleashing of a brand new single to coincide with the tour.

Catch the boys in February, get there early as it’s a rotating headline tour!;
