Kenelis - Drained
Album Review

Kenelis – Drained

Good grief! Another rock band standing in front of a wooded area on the front cover. Thankfully the material within speak higher volumes than the by numbers product design.

Mel Sanson makes for a strong leading vocal. Her voice does threaten to grate from time to time, but overall she manages to keep the urge to scream under control – finding more subtle treasures in her vocal range.

The music itself also has enough breadth to keep it interesting. You have heard this kind of easy rock before, but with such a strong contending voice it can only be good to hear a bit more.
