Singing about the lord one moment, getting all funky jazz on us the next. The welcome wagon sounds like a troupe of muscicians and vocalists you’d expect to see perambulating from small town to small town… singing in chorus as they trapes past each building, dressed in matching festival garbs.
It is community music gone to the happy extremes… But they have trouble sustaining it for a dozen or so tracks without it becoming evidence of how to create the latest frizbee.
