Apparently having built a name for himself (under his real name Mike Strallow) as a guitarist for others, here he makes his own stake in the world of music under the rather unfortunately chosen name Mike Bones.
For someone who is known for his guitar talents – it is sadly the least appealing part of the music here as it simply just builds the song structure. There are more interesting things going on in the percussion, orchestral strings and even vocals. That isn’t to say he is bad at his craft – merely he chose a song for a single that didn’t highlight it in anyway. Maybe he’s looking to seek attention as an all round musician – and it is from this perspective that fans should approach this new work. And not a bad effort either.
