Much talked about Danish disco–grungers WhoMadeWho are coming up with a new album on March 23rd, The Plot. The three guys who have been mostly known for their support shows for bands like Soulwax, LCD Soundsystem, Daft Punk and of course for their own hit 'Space For Rent', worked hard for three years on their new record. After recording they went to Moscow and had a crazy little vacation with Chicks On Speed.
That combination might sound strange to you – and in fact it was pretty crazy. They were invited to perform for a very “Nouveau Rich” party of Russian oligarchs. So they had a large quantity of Vodka and used the opportunity to shoot a crazy little video there. They got an amazing apartment and crazy costumes from upcoming Indian designer Walter Van Beirendonck (the boys) and Manish Arora (the girls) and started to freak out. The result is this little 3 minute music video for their song 'This Train' made by Chicks On Speed. A 3 minute high-energy grunge disco song that sounds like Led Zeppelin meets Mr Oizo.
