Pete And The Pirates pre SXSW gig.
Glasswerk are pleased to announce they have once again teamed up with Pete And The Pirates in organising a last minute, pre SXSW gig at Plug N Play. The band are giving their fans a chance to hear brand new songs which will feature on the bands second album before anybody else.
Pete And The Pirates are about to head out to Austin, Texas to play a string of dates at America’s biggest music industry festival South By South West. However, before they do they will showcase brand new songs on the evening of Thursday March 12th , as part of the “Glasswerk presents Revelry” club night at Plug N Play just days before leaving the country. On returning to the UK these songs will be recorded in for an album release in the summer of 2009 (date TBC).
This is fantastic news for Reading’s brand new club night “Revelry”. With bands such as Ipso Facto, Pure Reason Revolution, Goldie Lookin’ Chain and Pete And The Pirates, Revelry continues to go from strength to strength.
Plug N Play is certainly the place to be for those in Berkshire who crave live music from touring bands and the latest indie tunes spun by resident DJ Ginger Olly.
