Shinedown – Sound Of Madness

With new single’Sound Of Madness’ Shinedown have unleashed a beast of a hard rock song on the world. With fantastic Ryan McCombs esque vocals mixed with a furious guitar hook sat on grooves so thick Down would be jealous, this has to be one of the best new rock singles of 2009 so far.

‘Sound of Madness’ is in possession of a chorus that is pure chant a long perfection, the thunderous refrain ‘When you gonna wake up and fight?’ surely cementing it as a staple of any live set Shinedown play. It is certain to send the crowds on the summer festival circuit completely loopy. If rock is your bread, on this evidence Shinedown are most definitely the butter.
