The Tunics – Shine On

Harmless stuff this. Laid-back indie ala Kooks or back in the day The Kinks. What ‘Shine On’ lacks in attitude and bite it makes up for with layers of beautiful jangly hooks and a voice in John Costello that is utterly captivating. His masterful delivery will have you entranced from beginning to end.

The Tunics would be hard pressed to fail if ‘Shine On’ is anything to go by. Intriguing lyrics and deft musicianship amount to an Indie rock song that doesn’t break the mould but does leave a lasting impression.
