Kish Mauve - Come On/ Morphine
Album Review

Kish Mauve – Come On/ Morphine

This new single from London based girl/ boy electro pop duo ‘Kish Muave’ boasts an aptitude of fresh and innovative ideas. It’s a sassy and tight disco pop groove with an array of punch and heartfelt emotion.

It’s easy to see why this song writing duo were snapped up by a certain well known aussie by the name of ‘Kylie’ to write her song comeback song last year; the song ‘2 hearts’ masterminded by ‘Kish Muave’ went straight to number 1 in the UK charts.

Now it is time for ‘Kish Muave’ to go it alone, and latest single ‘Come On/ Morphine’ is certainly not a bad start. It further highlights the bands ability to tap into your consciousness with infectious melody and haunting vocal capacity. Lead singer Mima Stilwell has that rare ability to allow her vocals to float over the essence of the music effortlessly but yet also maintain ultimate charisma and charm. The music itself is also faultless. It’s atmospheric and uplifting symphony is the perfect accompaniment for the flourishes of guitar music that grace the band’s sound.
