Blur Man Trains To Be Barrister

Although Blur are apparently planning to continue touring after their previously announced shows in June and July, it seems unlikely that drummer Dave Rowntree will be involved. He told The Independent in an interview that he is hoping to concentrate on his law career following the reunion shows.

Rowntree revealed that his currently doing part-time work experience with a London law firm whilst training as a barrister and hopes to find a full-time job as soon as his commitments with Blur have passed.

He said: “I only went along for a day but then they said I could go in once a week as work experience. Now I go in three times a week. Hopefully I can go and work there when I'm finished with the Blur tour”.
