Metro Station - Shake It
Album Review

Metro Station – Shake It

Metro Station start interestingly enough with a nice synthesized backing with some very alluring male vocals, almost whispering over the mic. And then this sweet mood is abruptly thrown aside for a catching hook chorus. The voice suddenly becomes like many you have heard before in either rock, indie, emo type conventional band. It seems a shame as it all started so well, but at least disco dance floors won’t be missing any teen girls.

But then with lyrics like:
“I saw you dancing; I couldn’t get you off my mind”

It isn’t any wonder what crowd these youngsters are playing to.
