Be, the weekly club night that occupies Camden’s Proud Gallery every Saturday, today announced that the hotly tipped Bombay Bicycle Club will be playing a special one off gig this weekend.
The band will join a typically eclectic line-up for the popular night, playing alongside acclaimed italo disco revivalists Heartbreak, and rising punk funk meets synth pop stars Portasound with DJ duties being handled by the Be-Team and special guest, renowned promoter and DJ, Firas from Filthy Few.
Said David Harris, Be’s resident DJ and promoter ‘Bombay Bicycle Club are one of the most talked about new bands in the country. Coming on like My Bloody Valentine meets Bloc Party in a London warehouse party, we could well be looking at the next indie supergroup! Echo chamber guitars are topped by Jack's wild-eyed and celestial vocals, all over super-tight bass-heavy grooves. We’ve loved them for some time now so it’s great to have them down at Be before they go stratospheric.’
Be, which recently celebrated its second birthday, has been Proud’s flagship club-night since the venue launched attracting up to fifteen hundred revellers every Saturday.
