Madness frontman Suggs has revealed that the band are making a new film with director Julien Temple, which will be part fiction, part documentary, and part concert film. All of which makes it sound like it might be a sequel to their 1981 film 'Madness: Take It Or Leave It', in which the band acted out the story of their formation and the recording of their debut album.
Suggs told Undercover: “We're supposed to make a really great film with Julian Temple. He's been working with us and it's coming along I think. We did three nights at the Hackney Empire. We did some acting for that as well, we went down by the river and we did some stuff, and we did some shows with Luke Cresswell, the guy who did 'Stomp', so it's a combination of all three, it's a live concert, a documentary and some theatrical pieces”.
