New Education Announce New Single & Tour

New Education have announced the release of their second single ‘Another Miracle’ on 18 May. Produced by Chris Potter (The Verve), the track is further testament to New Education’s ability to produce soaring, anthemic tunes that offer escapism from everyday drudgery. The band are also supporting The Rifles on their UK tour in March.

New Education were formed by Brothers Ryan Dooley (vocals, guitar) and Jack Dooley (bass, backing vocals) in January 2008, along with long-time friends David Cartwright (guitar) and John Bradbury (drums). Influenced by bands like Oasis, The Cure and The Clash, Ryan writes gritty, assured rock songs which the band describe as the sound of “the midlands calling”. New single 'Another Miracle' will be the follow-up to their sold-out debut single ‘Today’, released in October 2008 through KIDS Records (The Wombats, The Whip, iLiKETRAiNS, Band of Horses).

The band have earned a devoted and ever-growing following in their native Stoke-On-Trent in a very short space of time, with rowdy gigs at The Sugarmill and the Underground cementing their local fanbase. In the past six months the band have worked hard to spread their sound across the UK, supporting the likes of The Holloways, The Twang and Peter Doherty, and are increasingly gaining fans and recognition as one of Britain’s most promising new rock bands.
