Emil Svanängen has written 11 involved songs that will appeal to the light hearted indie scene. His soft heavily accented voice prominent even over the music which is largely acoustical work. Breezy, yet passionate. Soft yet rhythmic.

The inclusion of some heavy string work and even the occasional drum roll helps temper an otherwise quiet affair. The quieter moments though have their own flare as well though. But ultimately it is an album about a voice, and it’s one that appears sincere.
