Casiokids to debut in Ireland
Norwegian poptronica outfit, Casiokids, have announced their debut Irish performance at the Academy 2 on May 26.
The band has just finished an intense tour which saw them supporting Of Montreal across Europe where they were greatly received and a performance at EUROSONIC09 in the Netherlands.
The success of their first single, Verdens største land/Fot i hose, described by NME as “a sublimely synthy debut,” will now be followed up by the second in a series of 7”s the band plan to release in 2009.
Tickets for Casiokids go on sale at 9.00 am this Thursday April 9th.
