Madness 'Dust Devil'

Hot on the heels of the news that 2009 will bring not just the decade's first Madstock but also the first Madness album of the 'noughties' comes news of a Madness single. 'Dust Devil' is released on 11th May. The single is available on cd and two very limited 7″ singles.

'Dust Devil' is sure to take its place in the Madness pantheon of classic pop singles. A tale of suburban life behind the curtains and in the shadows of the evening, it is a timely reminder of the abilities of one of the UK's most successful bands ever.

The new Madness album, 'The Liberty Of Norton Folgate' follows 'Dust Devil' on the 18th May and has already been the subject of high praise as 'the Nutty Boys are reinvented as streetwise Peter Ackroyds on this lavish, Londoncentric return to form' according to Uncut. The album is accompanied by a very special Julien Temple film shot at an exclusive show at Hackney Empire last summer and scheduled for a limited cinema release to coincide with the album.
