Innerpartysystem – Heart Of Fire

Innerpartysystem leaps between general light pop-rock to electro pop. The former works, whereas the latter seems like the band are short changing themselves by tweaking voices electronically and providing fake synthetic sound backgrounds.

It’s a six track disc that balances the two evenly enough for the results to be more than apparent to the listener. They are more than capable of being fresh with a more authentic sound rather than resorting to over-production.
