Maximo Park – The Kids Are Sick Again

Maximo Park are back with this single from forthcoming album “Quicken The Heart.”

What begins as more perambulating guitar noise happily segues into more of a thoughtful tune thanks to the singer’s natural feel for pulling lyrics. The string work itself improves greatly as well. If anything it’s an off choice for single as the song is wavering back and forth between different popular sounds. It can’t seem to decide what it wants to be. But it’s no less entertaining.
