Slashed Seat Affair – No More Lies

Distanced disco sliding that stealthily harnesses the combination of steady rhythm rolling guitars and the mildly echoing, pleading vocal slide of Ellie Mules. It’s an approach that aids the effectiveness of the no nonsense lyrical punch. Spacey guitar interludes open the door for a needy escapism element to slip in.

This second single does just enough to build up interest in the forthcoming debut album that has the makings of being a pondering, yet energy exuding affair. The impression is given that Mules’ vocals are expansive enough to make the album varied and foxy.
