Panama Kings – Golden Recruit

These Belfast upstarts don’t know the meaning of misery in their music. This electronic assault on the eardrums. There is no doubt that this is aimed at the electro pop market. It probably isn’t cool enough to fit into the current indie sound, but fair play to them for putting their balls on the line with ‘Golden recruit’. It’s a slick fuzzy number that has some golden charm (ahem!) and certainly doesn’t lack hooks and bounce. This is a decent enough crack for a first single. Nice work guys!!
