Gary Go – Gary Go

If you like your music very light, pop-centric, but with a familiar male lead vocal who will toy around with indie rock conventions then Gary Go could well be the thing.

Almost like a Coldplay-lite Gary Go will appeal to those who like their music accessible without much of a thought to go with it. The songs do have their own ring of familiarity about them- but the music is to be fair still well orchestrated and memorable enough when each begins. It’s perhaps the man himself who presents the biggest problem which is that he sounds very much like other singers, or perhaps one in particular. This is down to the fact that he sings in a similar fashion when hitting high notes. But then if two people sounding the same doesn’t bother you then looking at this as the glass is half full is perhaps to your best advantage.
