Serpico - Neon Wasteland
Album Review

Serpico – Neon Wasteland

There may be some inspired guitar solos here. Perhaps they are even more capable than the sum of their parts, “Serpico” present an affable enough effort, but can they quite cut it when it comes to being the new hot thing?
It is perhaps very brave to take on a market that was dominated a long time ago by acts both strong and weak.

To literally bundle themselves into the mosh pit of commercial metal music could be suicidal. But then nothing ventured, nothing gained. But the quality of music will only get you so far in the market.
Having the green to get you promoted, and even the effort to do as much free advertising as possible, from gigs, to internet networking can be quite a daunting task.

“Serpico” have made the music, now they have to get right out there and get seen and heard. The easy part is over. They are going to have to get themselves a reputation that will make people want to hang around.
The guitar work is there for sure, they just need to make sure their efforts are not in vain and they don’t end up another metal band with hair all over the place.
