Making music with their hearts and their hands, this LLanelli quintet’s anthemic debut EP is full of promise. Opener “Spending On You” punches forth from your speakers.
The piano led “World Machine” momentarily calls Muse to mind, although the verse soon dispels any similarity.
Title track “Superhero”‘s juddering riff punctuates the verse, building to a huge chorus.
The aptly-titled “Take It To Dance” verges on disco in a manner Jay Kay would be proud of.
Final track “Come Hither” stomps the EP to a close.
With tracks like those found here, it is surely only a matter of time before you here Sierra Alpha all over your summer radio like a rash.
