Franz Ferdinand have announced details of the release of a new single, Can’t Stop Feeling, through Domino on Monday July 6th 2009.
Available on 7” & download, the single will also feature the band’s version of LCD Soundsystem’s All My Friends.
The single is taken from their third album, Tonight: Franz Ferdinand, which was released in January 2009 and reached number 2 in the U.K. charts (and charted in the top 10 in 19 other countries worldwide, including the U.S.).
The band are also set to release a ‘dub’ version of Tonight: Franz Ferdinand, titled Blood on June 1st which has been put together by Dan Cary, who also produced the original album.
Having just completed sell-out U.K. and U.S. tours and slots at Coachella and Radio 1’s Big Weekend, the band return to the U.K. in October for a full tour.

Tickets for the shows will be priced at £20 (except London where they will be £21.50) and are available for general sale via link ((for the English dates) & link (for the Scottish dates).
The band are currently heading out to play festivals across Europe during the summer, including slots at both Glastonbury (headlining the second stage), T in the Park & a headline performance at the Bennicasim. They also headline the Fuji festival in Japan in July.
