Hot on the heels of their self-released indie-chart topping successes “Trauma Town” and “Bill Hicks”, The Foxes return with this sure-fire summer hit, “Lover, Killer”, recorded at the legendary Eastcote Studios, mixed by Sam Williams (Supergrass, Kula Shaker) and mastered by John Davis (Razorlight, U2, Oasis).
The release is supported by a huge UK tour in June and July, followed by major tours across India and the U.S.A in a big red double decker routemaster bus, pencilled in for later in the year.
With interest from a host of luminaries to make The Foxes debut album, including producers John Cornfield and Mike Crossey, the band are in the process of selecting which live favourites will make the final cut.
An energetic live acoustic version of “Lover, Killer” can be seen on The Fly magazine's “Courtyard Sessions” which not only showcases the band's raw musical talent, but demonstrates, even stripped down, how infectiously catchy and exciting this dance floor filler is.
The Foxes charted their last two singles in the official UK Indie chart at 9 and then 6; trumping acts such as Royksopp and The Dears and entering just 3 places below Oasis.”
