The band that have redefined guitar music for the last 30 years return for their first headline show in over a decade at Dublin's Vicar Street venue.
Their 16th album release entitled 'The Enternal' hits the shelves this Friday 12th of June but fans may want to be up early as tickets for their headlining Vicar Street show go on sale from 9am on the same day.
Sonic Youth arose from the New York underground rock scene of the early 1980s and went on to become one of the most influential and innovative indie groups of their generation, totally re-establishing the limits of electric guitar’s sonic potential.
The living legends headline Vicar Street on December 6th with tickets priced €42.50/48.50 (inc. booking fee) & available from Ticketmaster, Road Records, City Discs, Sound Cellar and usual outlets.
Tickets are on sale this Friday June 12th from 9am.
