The Ghosts of a Thousand have pulled out of their headline slot on the Red Bull Bedroom Jam stage at Download this Saturday.
The band pulled out of their festival performance due to urgent family matters, issuing this apologetic statement: “We are all very upset and will make it up to everyone that wanted to see the band very soon, thanks for your understanding on this. We'll see you soon.”
The Brighton based five-piece have also had to cancel their show with Alexisonfire at the London Borderline this evening, but it's expected that their headline tour next month will still go ahead as planned.
The dates for the tour are as follows:

Carlisle – The Brickyard (2nd)
Glasgow – King Tuts (3rd)
York – Barfly (4th)
