Final Two US Virgin Stores Close

The final two Virgin Megastores in the US have now closed. When Related Companies bought the Megastore chain off the Virgin Group in 2007, it was known their interest was in the property occupied by the record shops, not the entertainment retail business itself. Since then they've been slowly winding down the retail chain, with the final two stores, in New York and Hollywood, closed this weekend.
