Brooklyn based Warp Records signings Grizzly Bear will perform live at Dublin's Vicar Street this November.
The much hyped band supported Radiohead last summer on their North American tour, and are one of only a few non-electronic acts to be signed to Warp records.
The band employs traditional with electronic instruments, ranging from a recorder to a laptop, and all four members contribute vocals. Their sound is categorized as experimental folk rock with hints of psychedelic atmospherics, and is most dominated by the use of acoustic guitars and vocal harmonies.
Grizzly Bear made their Irish debut on a magical night in Whelan’s in May 2007 performing songs from their astounding 'Yellow House' album. The band have since followed up with their hugely ambitious, critically acclaimed third album 'Veckatimest' on Warp Records, which has entered the US Billboard Charts at a remarkable number 8.
