Michael Jackson’s body will go on public display at Neverland so fans can pay their last respects to the singer.
CNN claims that Jackson’s body will be transported 130 miles from Los Angeles to the ranch in Santa Barbara on Friday (July 3rd), where it will remain on public display until a private memorial service on Sunday.
Reports say that the star’s body will be transported in a glass coffin in a white horse-drawn carriage as the focal point of his last journey. A source close to the Jackson family said they want Michael to “look like a star”.
His body will be driven through the streets of Los Angeles, starting from 10am tomorrow (2nd July). Hugh crowds are expected to watch.
Michael Jackson’s family delayed funeral plans until the results of a private autopsy have been heard. His father, Joseph, has said that the star will not be buried at his former home.
