The Big Pink Reveal Debut Album Title

The Big Pink have named their debut album, ‘A Brief History of Love’, which is due for release in September.

The album has been recorded by the duo, Milo and Robbie, over the last 5 weeks in New York’s Electric Lady Studios. The album was crated with Muse and Interpol producer Rich Costey.

Milo Cordell spoke about the album title to BBC 6 Music, “every song is a love song to some degree, about every different aspect of love. The good, the bad, the boring, the exciting, the dreams, the nightmares, the whole thing and I guess that's what encompasses the whole album, and we have a song called 'A Brief History Of Love', so it's apt”.

The band performed at Glastonbury on three stages, The John Peel Stage, Queen’s Head Stage, and the Guardian Lounge. The Big Pink have also announced dates of their first UK tour for October. The itinerary is as follows:

8th Portsmouth Wedgwood Rooms
9th Brighton Digital

11th Coventry Kasbah
14th Glasgow King Tuts
17th York Duchess
18th Leeds Cockpit
