The music swells and jams in a kind of rock euphoria. Shinedown take their music to heights and then try to just climb even higher. And whilst the composition is sweet, it is only taken further by their charismatic lead vocalist. It’s all a match made in heaven.
It’s only annoying then that it’s the only song on the disc. In this day and age of digital promotion bands who are releasing singles on disc should really back up the purchases with extra material to show their fan base just how much they can stuff their money where their mouths are. Still the good news is that there is an album out there (The Sound of Madness) which we can all hope is where the gold lays.
