Promoters are also needed to help in booking support acts, promote and run events across Ireland – particularly outside Dublin. Candidates should have a very thorough knowledge of the music industry in their local area including bands, venues, local press and potential promotion opportunities.
A good knowledge of the Irish music scene as a whole is also preferable while a love of music is a must. All genres of music are of interest. No prior promotion experience is required as training will be given.
