A hugely successful year for Silversun Pickups concludes with the news that they set to support Placebo on their upcoming UK arena tour. The tour includes a London show at the gargantuan O2 Arena and runs as below:

9th – London, O2 Arena

11th – Bridlington, Bridlington Spa

12th – Manchester, Central

14th – Glasgow, SECC

Silversun Pickups’ current album release ‘Swoon’ debuted in the Top 10 of the Billboard album charts, while ‘Panic Switch’ became the first single by an artist on an independently distributed label to top the Billboard Hot Modern Rock Songs chart since 1998 and only the third in history. They also filmed an MTV Unplugged special

The band’s two UK headline tours have featured a total of five sold-out London shows and they’ve also supported The Killers at Hard Rock Calling and Snow Patrol at London’s Roundhouse as part of this year’s iTunes Festival. Their remaining tour plans for the year include further shows with Placebo in Ireland and mainland Europe as well as North American shows including Lollapalooza.
