Anthrax Remain on Sonisphere Bill

Anthrax fans attending Sonisphere in August can rest well with the knowledge that the band have decided to keep their scheduled appearance despite the illness (and eventual departure) of vocalist Dan Nelson.

In light of this they have had to cancel most of their shows this year, but for Sonisphere they have managed to seek out the help of original vocalist John Bush who is making a one off appearance (and likely his last with the band).

More confirmations for the festival include Paradise Lost on the Saturn stage on Sunday 2nd August. Also appearing will be Bjorn Again playing a set of heavy metal ABBA tunes on Saturday 1st.

The band has also announced that as part of the encore, and with respect to Sonisphere headliners Metallica, they will perform one song selected by the Sonisphere Festival's website's board users. Vote now to decide which of Metallica’s catalogue you’d like to see given the ABBA treatment!
