Temper Trap – Sweet Distortion

The Temper Trap hail from Melbourne on a steady current of hype and new single “Sweet Disposition” is a sweet introduction to their pop-rock stylings, riding a shimmering delayed guitar riff that builds along with the pretty high-pitched vocals towards the release of a gently euphoric chorus replete with stirring harmonies. Guitars jangle about pleasingly while the chugging bass and accomplished drum work keep the bottom end interesting. The production is spot-on and the result is a polished sound that’s both delicately intimate and arena-fillingly anthemic.
