Lily Allen, who bombarded tabloids & gossip stations for wearing prom dresses, gold necklaces, trainers & getting into celebrity word wars she has certainly been in front of our eyes.
From the first album ‘alright, still’ we’ve seen so much of her life snowball along & not just about her music. Which is why it has come as no surprise that Allen’s latest track ’22’ shows she has a head on her shoulders. Providing real life lyrics to yet another upbeat track with a catchy chorus. Who it’s about we don’t know, or whether is a realization of what she could become we can’t tell. However, it basically sums up modern life forcing people to grow up.
Although yes it checks all the boxes for something for Lily to release & is clearly a typical addition with a dash of maturity by her singing something more real. However, lyrics aside the sound of the track blends quite well into everything else….It’s just another Lily Allen track.
