Gomez Comeback Show for November

Gomez, an English rock band from Southport, have had a bumpy ride since their Mercury Award for their debut album 'Bring It On', over a decade ago.

It seems every album or tour they embark on, they are 'on their way back'. Their Academy date last April sold out practically overnight, so maybe their loyal fanbase has kept them closer to their hearts than this casual listener who dropped them after hearing their track “Little Pieces” on Grey's Atonomy.

They have been busy since the hyperbole of 11 years ago, and on their new album Gomez mark a return to their freewheeling and experimental roots. Maybe those distinctive voices, breezy harmonies, ceaselessly evolving rhythms and a melodic restlessness still connect with a legion of fans somewhere, and the promoter has recommended early ticket purchases for their show this November.

Maybe they still have it after all?
