The Duckworth Lewis Method – Meeting Mr Miandad

With songs like this you can never be sure how serious you can take them. There is far too much of a high buzz to the bounce they provide, but you just know for sure that the band are up to something ironic in their intonation.

But then this band was formed from a member of The Divine Comedy. And such a bizarre name for a band can only induce sniggers. It refers to a certain calculation of cricket scoring, and cricket is the inspiration for this jolly band.
