Jack’s Mannequin will play their largest UK show to date when they play London’s Koko as part of their upcoming tour.
Currently touring North America as guests to The Fray and in support of their current second album release ‘The Glass Passenger’, Jack’s Mannequin – former Something Corporate frontman Andrew McMahon and his band – are confirmed to play the following dates:
August
31st – Glasgow, King Tuts
September
1st – Manchester, Academy 2
3rd – London, Koko
4th – Birmingham, Academy 2
Produced by McMahon alongside Jim Wirt (Incubus) and recorded over the course of the past two years, ‘The Glass Passenger’ highlights McMahon’s positive, infectious songwriting that blends influences from classic radio rock, emo and piano-based balladry. Standout tracks include the memorable hook of ‘The Resolution’, the propulsive ‘Spinning’ and the expansive closing track ‘Caves’.
Since the release of ‘Everything in Transit’, Jack’s Mannequin embarked upon the ‘Tour For The Cure’ that raised $125,000 to benefit The Dear Jack Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by McMahon to fund cancer research. In addition, they’ve also played Lollapalooza, the Vans Warped Tour and Coachella, as well as a summer tour with Paramore. Their UK debut came in March with shows in London and Manchester.
