Lead singer of Yeah Yeah Yeahs has announced details of a solo record, with a single ‘All Is Love’ to preview the album.
The album is the soundtrack to Spike Jonze’s (Karen O’s ex boyfriend) forthcoming film ‘Where The Wild Things Are’.
The album involves some high profile contributors. O’s band mates Nick Zinner and Brian Chase are joined by Bradford Cox of Deerhunter, Dean Ferita of Queens Of The Stone Age, Aaron Hemphill from Liars, and an untrained children’s choir.
The single will be available for download on the 25th August. The full album will be released on the 29th September, with the film opening in cinemas on the 16th October.
